Meet Your Doula

My name is Britanee. I am 31 years old and happily married to my best friend for 7 years. I am a mom of two! My first baby was born 7 years ago and she was shortly followed by her baby brother, who is now 5. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friend. We love to Camp, fish and ride ATV! I also enjoy sitting down in a quiet corner with a good book to read.

It was not until the birth of my son that I had a calling to this empowering position. I relied solely on the support of my doula to conquer my labor and greet both my children. I was also a support person for family and friends during labor and I loved every minute of it. Labor and birth are one of the most vulnerable moments in life and I enjoyed getting to be there to share those moments and provide support.

I took my course through the Doula Love program centered here in Portland. I have received extensive training in pregnancy, labor procedures and coping techniques.
